Community Signs

Learn about community and safety signs with these resources for teaching and practicing community signs and environmental print around us! Included are a variety of safety and survival signs that are important for special education students to know.

Signs included in this resources are:
Unit 1: stairs, escalator, elevator, walk, don't walk, do not enter, waiting room, handicap, and caution.
Unit 2: no food or drink, keep locked, poison, wet paint, trash, recycle, food, drinking fountain, and stop.
Unit 3: wash hands, restrooms, men's restroom, women's restroom, out of order, slippery when wet, flammable, first aid, and fire extinguisher.
Unit 4: open, closed, exit, automatic door, danger, no smoking, no cell phones, no weapons, and no pets allowed.
